Process:
Guest’s photos will be taken by me with my phone or they can airdrop a wedding photo to my iPad (must be a photo from the event).
The idea is for guests to get their photo done, I add them to my queue of people to paint and grab their completed portrait at the end of the night!
The portraits will not require anyone to model or stand in front of me to be completed. I will use a photo as a reference.
As I complete portraits, they will placed in clear cellophane sleeves & displayed for guests to take home in front of me on the table. It is essential that I get photos in the beginning of my allotted time in order to complete the paintings. NO photos beyond my halfway point!
Materials & Set Up:
Folding table with a white tablecloth (6'x3') & chair
Battery powered lamp on table for visibility
5"x7" pre-cut watercolor paper for each portrait based on guest count
Cellophane sleeves to protect each portrait for the guests to take home
All brushes, paints, painting trays, water cups & iPad
Small frame to display signage for "Live Guest Portraits" with instruction & some of my business cards
Tripod for filming of my process for my instagram or to take photos
Pricing:
$250 per hour (minimum 3 hour booking)
6-8 couple portraits completed per hour
No travel fee if within local radius of 20 miles from McKinney, TX
Flat fee of $50 an hour for locations beyond radius one way (roundtrip time will be accounted for)
Guest Count Examples:
3 hours - 18-24 portraits (36-48 guests)
4 hours - 24-32 portraits (48-64 guests)
5 hours - 30-40 portraits (60-80 guests)
6 hours - 36-48 portraits (72-96 guests)
Larger Wedding Options (100+):
Set-up can take place before the ceremony so that photos can be taken as guests arrive & be completed during the ceremony to buy more time! Portraits will continue to be painted during happy hour & reception.
Portraits can be finished after the wedding & shipped to the couple (hourly rate still applies to time beyond wedding). Shipping fees will not be included.
Consider that not every couple or guest will receive a portrait! This is a custom and specialized service that cannot accommodate a large group of people.
*Please note that weddings larger than 150 guests will be too large to complete & not doable with my services
Please note that dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis!
Dates are confirmed once the first deposit is paid in full. There are NO reservations for dates without payment!
